A state-funded education account worth up to $10,474 per child (or up to $30,000 for students with an IEP) that you control and spend on approved educational services.
Any Texas child who is a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted resident and is not enrolled full-time in a public or charter school. Priority given to lower-income families and students with disabilities.
Tutoring, instructional materials, online education programs, textbooks, therapies for students with disabilities, school tuition, and more — including LFC Reading services.
Applications are open now through the Texas Governor's Office. Gather proof of residency and citizenship, then apply at the official TEFA portal.
